You could also try www.deviantart.com, I don’t know if you can sell your portraits directly to somebody, but it is an excellent place to get feedback on your work and give your opinion on other people’s. You’ve got nothing to lose.
If you are willing to spend the time, you could try ebay. I just wouldn’t recommend it though because you’re not going to find a big market for the items that you want to sell.

i would set up a my space account u can promote yourself and show some of ur work on the website good luck
