Hakman is generally considered to have gone through several different stages of style- with the most dramatic change happening after his release from a German POW camp at the end of WWII. To generalize, I would say that he drifted from Impressionist to Impressionistic Realism, with most of the changes in his style having to do with the use of color and brush stroke.
Heard of Serbo-Bosnian artist Kosta Hakman? Was he an Impressionist, a Postimpressionist, or an Expressionist?
a realism pencil landscape artist ?
What’s the question?
What artist was famous for painting faceless people?
He painted in like a watercolor fashion, or at least it had that type of look, very pastel, and there would be thin, wavering faceless people, like they didn’t have features, just flesh colored faces.
Munch is known for the Scream you are looking for Magritte. You can search him on line by his name there is a lot of info on him.
I bought an oil on canvas painting at a yard sale by the artist Hoffman how much is it worth?
The painting in question is a painting of from the American Revolution with a flutist, drummer, and a man with an American flag bringing the minute men into battle. Being from the Boston area maybe it is of the battle of Bunker hill?
Is this the painting your speaking of?

Not to bring you down here but…I sincerely doubt that the original painting is still floating around, outside of a museum.
I’d guess it’s a print on canvas (Giclee) These types of prints can look very much like an original oil painting but are not!
Artists can also sometimes paint directly on top of the print in order for it to look even more like an original.
A painting like that would be worth 10’s of thousands of dollars! I can’t see mrs. Jones, or whoever putting it in her driveway for a yard sale ![]()
Just my .02 cents.
How do I keep iTunes from making a new artist category whenever there’s a guest artist on a song?
For example, if I sync an Eminem album to my iPod, under the artist list it will show something like this:
Eminem
Eminem/Obie Trice
Eminem/Steve Berman
I want the Eminem/Obie Trice and the Eminem/Steve Berman onto JUST the Eminem artist category.
I tried dragging the albums onto each other on iTunes to combine the songs, but it doesn’t work.
So how do I do this?
Thank you.
Where it says the artist, click on it. It SHOULD open a text-box like thing. Then just write Emeniem. It should change to one artist.
How do you get prints made of an original artwort?
I’ve recently sold three original paintings, and after exploring some online artist sites I saw that many artists sell prints of original works. I’m taking photos for my portfolio, but what if someone wants a reproduction? Would I just go to a print shop with a digital image? Would they need my original painting to make a print?
look for companies tht make gilcee prints. or go tot his site, which i use adn is excelelnt:
www.iprintfromhome.com and www.iprint.com
Does anyone know about the clown painting artist named Robert Owens?I?
I have one of his prints containing 6 pretty sinister looking clowns.Their faces are somehow familiar but I can’t be sure from where.Any interest or info would be nice.
Hi! Robert Owen was born in Polk County, Missouri on September 2, 1930. He was ninth of ten children.
He has been painting for 35 years professionally. For 30 of those years he has been delighting people with his clowns.
His website domain is for sale, which give me cause for concern, however many other sites sell his paintings and prints.
Here is a link to some of his past artwork:

I just have a feeling that this first painting may the original painting of the print you are referring to with "6 sinister looking clowns."

Many of his collectors were celebrities, including several comedians such as Jerry Van Dyke, Sid Caesar. I wonder if he portrayed their looks in any of his artwork? He did paint Emmet Kelly’s face often.
He was a resident of Balboa (LA area), California for many years, and left his imprint on that area:

I suggest you contact any of the galleries selling his work for more information. Hope this has been of help.
Best wishes!
Who is your favorite obscure, contemporary artist?

How much should I pay for a portrait from a street artist?
My girlfriend and I are going to the Place to Tertre in Montmartre to have our portrait made by one of the street artists who set up their easels there. What is a reasonable amount to pay for a quick pencil sketch? Or a charcoal drawing? Or a full on painting?
it depends on who you tlak to and the material use, usually they range from 15 t0 40 Euros
How does music artists after composing the music play the musical instruments?
Though the music artists invent aesthetically the music (designing and composition), do they themselves play the instruments or instrument players play the music according to the artist’s composition? And suppose if the hired instrument player creates a better version of the artist’s original composition does the hired instrument player given the credit as well.
Huh? If any ‘ composer’ CAN’T PLAY THE INSTRUMENT THE SONG WAS WRITTEN ON OR FOR… then THEY DIDN’T WRITE THE MUSIC. I’ve seen a lot of PHONIES who copy some obscure piece of music and then try to pass it off as their own.. but WHEN THEY CAN’T PLAY IT.. then I know THEY DIDN’T WRITE IT.
I suspect you don’t really understand how music is composed OR played.
