How much would a freelance digital painting/drawing artist earn?

Now, I know it depends and ranges from zero to thousands of dollars but I want to know, roughly, what to expect. Say, if I wanted to set up a web page where I could sell my digital paintings as prints or as wallpapers – is there any realistic earning in that? I am not a ‘famous’ artist, so I know that doesn’t help, but my work is good.

I am a B.F.A. in applied arts, but am good at painting and want to pursue a career in it.

Why don’t you go to websites where painter jobs are advertised? There is e.g. http://www.painterjobs.net/ which is specialized at your field of interest. You can go there, browse through the jobs that are on offer, and apply for some. Good luck in finding your career.

Yep, definately Andy Warhol but he was more eccentric than crazy, he was never diagnosed as having a mental disorder/condition.

Need Help to Identify Oil Painting and Artist?

It is of a Women and child at the beach with a 16th or 17th century Nordic style fishing Village with boats in the background. The women has large hands and some of the boats were used to form the first name of the artist. It appears very old. 3 complete strangers claim to have seen similar painting on UK Antique Road Show 5-7 years ago.

Can’t find the painting yet.
A good contender for the artist would be Peder Severin Kroyer 1851 -1909, he did many paintings around the fishing village of Skagen in Denmark.

I saw a postcard of an oil painting that was of a wall that had a ton of paintings on a wall. It was an old painting like from the Renaissance period. I believe the wall in the background was black and it had many paintings on the wall that were framed. Can anyone tell me the name of the painting and the artist?
