I am a new artist and I was wondering do most artists put canvas hangers on their canvases or do they leave it to the buyer? Also where can I buy canvas hangers? Thank you very much! I hope I’m not bothering anybody.
Leave it to the buyer, and when you sale or offer a piece for sale say: "hanging hardware available upon request"
Everyone has their own way of hanging art.
You ucan find them cheaper at your local Walmart.
I think they are to tighten the canvas but I don’t know how to use them. any advise would be good!
I always throw them away. They go in the corners if you need to tighten up the canvas if humidity or lack of it causes the stretch to get a bit loose. A bit of water sprayed on the back does that also.
Tip: always lightly sand the gessoed canvas before painting, and choose portrait canvas for very detailed pieces. (this keeps your brushes from wearing out so fast. )

If you enjoy painting it is typically done on canvas.
Given that you are "not a real artist" what do fake, hobby, student and amateur artists paint on?

if i take the canvas and the photo in to a photo shop will they do it, i no they do it but normally they put them on there own canvas’s that they sell, do you think that they will put it on my artist one? thanks in advance.
It depends on the grade of canvas you have. It could either soak up too much ink or not absorb at all. If the canvas you bought was not manufactured for digital printing, then it would not be suitable for printing a photo.
If you insist on providing your own canvas, you can definitely get it yourself but just make sure it is an Ink Jet Canvas. Also, depending on your printer’s large format machine, the canvas you provide must be able to handle either pigmented or dye-based inks. Check out Fredrix Archival Print Canvas.
Also keep in mind that you don’t have to go to a photo studio. You can also have this done at a decent Graphic Design or Sign shop.
