Artists which convey their intended meaning in their work?

I am having trouble finding artists which convey their intended meaning/message in their work. And who also explore vital elements as the focus in their works. If anyone could suggest any artists, i would really appreciate it!! =)
i know that ‘vital elements’ is a bit difficult to understand- but thats what my task sheet says… I guess it is just the artists important elements/ideas/themes in their work

art is about conveying a message in ones work. Unless it has a purely decorative or utilitarian function all artwork convey a message in the work. I also don’t know what you mean with vital elements.
It’s probably easiest if the message is social or political. Banksy comes to mind, Georg Grosz, Egon Schiele, George Segal are some where it is pretty obvious and easy.

The various ‘Expressionist’ artists of the earlier 20th century were influenced by developments in psychology by Freud and Jung. I would suggest you have a look at the movement in general first, and individual artists (such as Munch) second. I wasn’t sure what ‘vital elements’ meant, so haven’t tried to suggest anything for that part of your question.

Look at the work of Damien Hurst ( Hirst?) and Tracy Emin. I think they are both bloody awful, but the meaning of their work is blabbed about relentlessly. Look up "Mother and child divided" Hope that helps.
